Hello everyone.
I am Tarhan Mustafa Öksüz. Between 30 June and 15 July 2025 I had the chance to join a summer project through KOZ-DER. It was not only a short experience abroad but a very special journey that brought me closer to one of my childhood dreams.
Since I was a child, one of my biggest dreams has been to travel the world, see new places and get to know other cultures. Through this project I had the happiness of realising a good part of that dream. Thanks to the opportunities KOZ-DER offers, I have so far had the chance to see close to 25 countries and countless cities. Having experienced so many different places while still very young is a real source of happiness and pride for me.
What This Gave Me
The project did not only let me see new places; it helped me get to know myself better, meet different people and look at the world from a wider angle. Every new country, every new city and every new person taught me something different. Seeing other cultures where they live, observing their ways of life and making new friends meant a great deal to me.
Along the way, sometimes walking the streets of a city, sometimes talking with new people somewhere I had never been, sometimes just breathing a different atmosphere gave me a lot. All of it showed me that dreams are not out of reach, and that with the right opportunity a person really can achieve a great deal.
Dreams and New Goals
While enjoying the satisfaction of realising one dream, I also realised how many goals still lie ahead of me. Now new goals, new countries, new experiences and new projects are waiting. Each experience feels not like an ending but like a new beginning.
So to anyone with goals of their own, who wants to grow and is open to new experiences, I can say this with confidence: you can join projects in line with your own aims. Sometimes a single project can open wonderful doors in a person’s life.
