Back to Erasmus+ After a Long Break

Hello, I am Halil ÖZKARACA.

Returning to an Erasmus+ project after a long break was both a highly enjoyable and productive experience for me. Held in Madan, Bulgaria, “Truth or Trick? Click with Care” earned a special place in my memory through both its content and its atmosphere.

Having previously taken part in many TCA activities, I can say that this project offered me a distinctly different experience. The training content, the interaction among participants and the overall energy created a lively process full of sharing, learning and fun.

A Different and Enjoyable Experience

During the project, we did much more than attend sessions. We thought, discussed and learned together while creating wonderful memories. Working on information pollution, manipulation, misinformation and the impact of online content—some of today’s most important digital challenges—was highly instructive.

Through discussions, group work and practical sessions, the project went beyond theoretical training. It became a collaborative learning process shaped by experience and active participation.

New Connections and Partnerships

One of the most valuable aspects of the project was the opportunity to build new connections with participants and organisation representatives from different countries. We strengthened existing relationships and met potential new partners.

From the perspective of international youth work, projects like this support more than individual learning. They also create a strong foundation for future partnerships and new forms of cooperation. In this respect, the project was also highly valuable for KOZ-DER.

Fun, Travel and Wonderful Memories

For me, the project was not limited to training sessions. It was also a socially engaging experience filled with fun, travel and shared moments. The sincere relationships, conversations, cultural exchange and time spent together made the project even more meaningful.

The ability of people from different countries to build such strong connections in a short time is one of the most valuable aspects of Erasmus+ projects. This project allowed me to experience that once again.

Thanks

I would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this wonderful experience possible. I am especially grateful to Emily and Vladi, who successfully led the project and made the entire process even more enjoyable.

Taking part in an Erasmus+ project again after a long break was truly valuable for me. This experience—through which I learned new things, met new people and developed new partnerships—will remain a very special memory.
