Not a Project That Ended, but an Experience That Left a Mark

For me, LIFE for PRR was not just an Erasmus+ project about waste, recycling and sustainability. My time in Kilis became a journey in which I met different people, learned new things, discovered new sides of myself and gained experiences that truly enriched my life.

Sustainability Is Not Only About the Environment

While we reflected on reducing waste, reusing and the place of recycling in our daily lives, I came to understand that sustainability is not only an environmental concept. I saw first-hand that seemingly small actions, individual awareness and acting together can be part of a big change.

The Most Special Part: The People

One of the most special parts of this project, as much as what I learned, was the people I lived and shared it with. I learned a lot from different personalities, experiences and points of view. The time we spent together, the work we did, our conversations, the moments we laughed and the little unplanned memories remain the best parts of the project for me.

Beyond teaching me new things, LIFE for PRR made me feel how valuable it is to create together, to share, to understand differences and to be part of a community. When I left Kilis, I took with me not only new knowledge but also memories I will never forget and people who touched my life.
