KOZ-DER is Looking for Volunteers

About the Call

At KOZ-DER we want to build stronger projects with the ideas, energy and commitment of young people. We are looking for volunteers who want to create alongside us, take responsibility and gain experience in civil society through our Erasmus+ and youth work activities.

This call is for young people who want to contribute in social media, project writing, project management, event organisation, partner communication, design, technology and innovation.

As a KOZ-DER volunteer you do not simply support a piece of work: you gain real experience of Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, youth projects, local events and international work.

Core Activities

• Supporting KOZ-DER’s social media and visibility work
• Contributing to the development of project ideas
• Supporting project writing for Erasmus+ and youth projects
• Taking part in project management, planning and delivery
• Helping prepare, announce and run events
• Supporting communication and cooperation with partner organisations
• Producing design work: posters, social media visuals and digital content
• Contributing in technology, web, digital solutions and innovation

Areas of Volunteering

We would like to work with volunteers in the following areas:

• Social Media Content creation, publishing schedules, monitoring and digital visibility

• Project Writing Developing project ideas, drafting applications, writing and reporting

• Project Management Planning, delivery, coordination and progress tracking

• Event Organisation Generating event ideas, preparation, delivery and participant processes

• Partners and Communication Communicating with organisations, developing cooperation and building networks

• Design and Visual Communication Graphic design, posters, presentations, announcements and social media visuals

• Technology and Innovation Web and digital solutions, software, app ideas and technical support

Who Can Apply

This call is open to young people who want to contribute to KOZ-DER’s work, can take responsibility, work well in a team and want an active role in the youth field.

Applicants should be willing to volunteer, open in communication, keen to create and interested in gaining experience in civil society.

We especially welcome applications from candidates with interest or experience in social media, project writing, project management, design, technology, event organisation and communication.

How Volunteering Works

Applications are reviewed and suitable candidates are contacted. Roles are assigned according to each volunteer’s interests, experience and the areas they want to contribute to.

Volunteering can be done both in person and online. Volunteers based in Kilis can take an active role in local events, while volunteers in other cities can support online in social media, project writing, design, communication and technology.

Expected Outcomes

• KOZ-DER’s volunteer network is strengthened
• Young people gain experience in Erasmus+ and youth work
• Work is produced in social media, project writing, design and technology
• Active volunteer support in events and projects increases
• KOZ-DER’s local, national and international visibility grows
• Volunteers develop communication, teamwork, responsibility and creative skills
