Don’t Just Scroll, Take Control

This Erasmus+ Training Course in Madan, Bulgaria focuses on democratic participation, media literacy and active citizenship, encouraging young people to move beyond passive online engagement and take an active role in civic life.

About the Project

Don’t Just Scroll, Take Control is an Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Madan, Bulgaria between 12.08.2026 and 22.08.2026. Participants are expected to arrive on the afternoon or evening of 11 August and depart on the morning of 23 August.

The project helps young people move beyond consuming, liking and sharing content online, towards taking an active part in democratic processes, thinking critically and taking responsibility on social issues.

Young people are constantly exposed to political messaging, public debate, campaigns, misinformation and social conflict through social media. But liking, sharing or commenting on something online does not always amount to real participation or change. This project supports young people in turning digital awareness into genuine democratic participation.
