“No More Walls, Europe Calls” Project Delegation Visits Provincial Director Mustafa Ertunç

The delegation of the “No More Walls, Europe Calls” Youth Exchange Project, implemented under the Erasmus+ programme, paid a visit to Mustafa ERTUNÇ, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports in Kilis.

The meeting was attended by Director of Youth Services Mehmet ALKAN, Director of Kilis Youth Centre Naim KÖROĞLU, Project Coordinator Lect. Mehmet KARAOĞLAN, Project Coordinator Halil ÖZKARACA, as well as group leaders from Azerbaijan and Georgia.

During the visit, information was shared about the purpose of the project, the activities carried out and the process the young participants have been experiencing in Kilis. The meeting also included discussions on inclusion, intercultural learning, solidarity, active citizenship and the impact of international youth work on young people.

Provincial Director Mustafa ERTUNÇ asked whether the participants had any needs and stated that, as an institution, they were ready to provide the necessary support within their means to ensure that the young people have a comfortable and productive stay in Kilis. He also expressed support for organising an open-air cinema event for the project participants.

The meeting, held in a warm and sincere atmosphere, also included an exchange of ideas on joint activities for young people and possible future cooperation.

The project delegation thanked Mustafa ERTUNÇ, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports in Kilis, for his close interest in the participants, his support and his sincere hospitality.
