KOZ-DER Joins the DYPALL Network

🌍🤝 We are happy to announce that KOZ-DER (Youth Mind Games and Coding Association) has become a member of DYPALL Network. We can now proudly say: KOZ-DER is a proud member of DYPALL Network!

We are now part of DYPALL Network, a European network promoting youth participation in decision-making at the local level.

About DYPALL Network

DYPALL Network (Developing Youth Participation at Local Level) is a European platform of civil society organisations, local authorities and research institutions focusing on youth participation in decision-making processes at the local level. By fostering cooperation, building capacities and advocating for participatory governance, the network contributes to stronger local democracies where young people are recognised as active partners in decision-making.

In short: DYPALL Network is a European network that empowers municipalities, institutions and youth organisations to develop inclusive participation mechanisms that enable young people to shape local decision-making.

Mission and vision

  • Mission: DYPALL Network stands for the creation of effective and sustainable involvement of youth in decision-making with local authorities through the development of strategies and building structures and relations of trust between actors.
  • Vision: We strive for a society in which local democracies are built jointly by young people and decision-makers in an inclusive, participatory and meaningful way.

Values

Democratic values · Respect for diversity · Complementarity between public and private sector · Shared decisions · Equal opportunities · Sustainability

What This Membership Means for KOZ-DER

We bring our work with young people in Kilis, including mind games, coding, Speaking Club, environmental and disaster awareness activities, and our Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps experience, to the organisations in this network. Through our membership we aim to:

  • share experience and build new partnerships with member organisations across Europe,
  • widen our young people’s access to training and mobility opportunities,
  • bring good practice to Kilis so that young people take a greater part in local decision-making,
  • share our own work with the other members of the network.

We will keep working for a future where young people’s voices are heard locally and decisions are made together with them. 💙
